Crank Tractors"Crank Tractors" are old tractors we convert to be interactive animatronic tractors that guests of yours can start just like the farmers of the early 1900's did. When a guest gives the handle a crank the tractor roars to life with animated headlights, realistic engine noise, exhaust smoke, and an exhaust rain cap that flaps up and down. Tractors start at random so no two starts in a row are exactly the same.

Tractors are converted with parts that bolt on and no permanent modifications are done that would keep a tractor from being able to be put back to original.

How it Started
|
We built the very first crank tractor when my dad and I picked up an old McCormick Deering 22-36 tractor with a "stuck" engine as a photo op for our Farm. The tractor was great, but it was just sitting off in the corner and we knew we could do more with it.
Later we ended up getting our hands on a running 10-20 and while it was tricky to crank start we though it would be neat if kids could see what it was like to start one of these the way they used to before the days of electric start. We decided to take that old 22-36 with the stuck engine and animate it to mimic the running 10-20 we had. It ended up being surprisingly popular with our guests and we got requests to build more of them. |

Reliability |

The first group of tractors we built for customers were going to be shipped all over the country, we knew we needed them to be very reliable as it wouldn't be easy for us to get to them if there were any problems. We used quality parts throughout and built all of the components in a way where they could be easily switched out or replaced in the event there was an issue. The fog machine we use for example carries a clog free guarantee and never needs to be cleaned. If you have ever dealt with "cheap" fog machines you know what a pain they can be and how unreliable they are. The machine that comes in the crank tractor retails at $1000 on its own, but it is top quality and we have yet to have one fail.
Much of the cost of the tractors comes from the cost of the components we have chosen to use. What this means for you is less maintenance, less down time, and a product you can count on. Most tractors are run at pumpkin farms and businesses with a short season, things just need to work!

-Top section of exhaust is removable on its own for easy access of rain cap mechanism.
-Bright colored "Crank Me" sign mounted around crank handle to draw attention to the tractor crank.
-Side panels are locked shut to prevent any guest from getting in by the controls box.
-Quick attach cover under hood to protect all electronic components from the weather.
-Padded crank handle.

-Rear standing platform, makes for an elevated standing spot for a photo op.
-Electronic timer with bluetooth allows a schedule to be created to automatically turn the tractor on and off based on your hours of operation. This is programmed either on the timer itself or from an app on your phone wirelessly using the bluetooth connection. (also good for manual override)
